Why do the networks focus on bad news? Sure, because that's what the people want, but why? Not me, I hate bad news, but I rarely get the good kind. Give me some good news, like "Hey, you won the lottery!" or "Scientists discover a new fajita that makes you lose weight, cures old age and stops global warming!" I could use some news like that.

Back by popular demand…this is the second year Raven has prepared a “Tennessee Style Sweet Potato Casserole”. This recipe is so popular that she often receives multiple requests for the same holiday. As seen in this photo, Raven prepared this dish for an early Thanksgiving Celebration and 10 days later…she is already receiving request to prepare this delicious dish again on Thanksgiving Day…Yummy Raven! Tennessee Style Sweet Potato Casserole: 3 cups sweet potatoes (soften after boiling) ½ cup sugar ½ cup butter 2 eggs (beaten) 1 tsp vanilla 1/3 cup milk Topping: 1/3 cup melted butter 1 cup of brown sugar ½ cup flour 1 chopped pecans Boil and mash potatoes. Mix with sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. A 13X9 inch baking dish is preferred. Topping: Melt butter with remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake approximately 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 10-12 people.
